DAY 1
Arrival and transfer to the selected hotel.
DAY 2
City tour including main highlights of the city: visit Republic square, State University, City panorama, Cascade, Parliament building, President’s Palace, Opera House, visit to the Genocide Memorial with a museum, dedicated to the Victims of 1915 and the Genocide Museum. Matenadaran – the Research Institute of Ancient Manuscripts. O/N in Yerevan.
DAY 3
Tour to Echmiatsin city and the center of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the Holy See of the Supreme Catholikos of all Armenians St. Hripsime church and ruins of Zvartnots temple after continue driving to Garni Hellenistic temple and Geghard cave monastery. O/N in Yerevan.
DAY 4
Tour to Khor Virap monastery from there opens a wonderful view of Mt. Ararat, visit Areni (wine tasting in Areni village) than continue driving to Noravank monastery and be amazed at natural wild beauty with the harmony of Noravank architecture. The same day visit Tatev monastery hear you can use the longest cable car in the world 5,5 km after drive to Goris. O/N in Goris.
DAY 5
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Qarahunge – archaeological site of VI millennium BC, which is known as the “Armenian Stonehenge”. Then via Selim pass part of silk road visit caravansarai of 13 century drive to Noratus cemetery of Khachkars where you can see Khachkars belong to different centuries, then via Lake Sevan Drive to Tsaghkunq guest house and restaurant, where besides of delicious lunch the chief will give a masterclass in cooking some local dish. O/N in Tsaghkadzor.
